This is the place where we were always alone together
Slowly falling into the nether
Who would pull us back?

This is the place where they told us we were different
You said you couldn't help it
I was ready to crack

This is the place where we were taught to talk in cliches
You getting hidden away
Me getting ready for the change to come

This is the place where they told us how we should be
And as far as they could see,
